Tony Welch (Past Speaker)

Tony has been Chief Procurement Officer at Society of Lloyd's since November 2016, with the focus on creating a Group Procurement Centre of Expertise. Tony is responsible for all aspects of global procurement and has over 25 years of experience in the Financial  Service sector and prior to joining Lloyd’s had held senior roles with a number of financial services firms that include Willis Towers Watson, Accenture, JLT Group and most recently Close Brothers. Since joining Lloyd’s his team have been shortlisted for the World Procurement Awards and recently named “Most Improved Procurement Operation” at the CIPS European Awards 2018.
