Michael Mesterton (Past Speaker)

Michael has over twelve years of strategic sales experience focused on the B2B payments sector. In his current role at American Express Michael is responsible for managing some of American Express’ key global corporate clients in the Nordics. He and his team help large global clients drive savings and process efficiency across both T&E and B2B supplier spend.

 

Prior to his current role Michael was a Global Manager in American Express on the merchant side of the business where he managed relationships with large hotel chains to help ensure acceptance of the card at a global level and partnering to drive volume to his clients.  Michael then went on to become Vice President for MasterCard in Spain, managing the largest issuers and acquiring bank partners in the Spanish market.   Michael has also previously held Sales Management roles at Bang & Olufsen and various IT companies.
